En un estudi realitzat per Minerva Laranjo de l’IRTA-CReSA sobre el cost de la cisticercosi en el sector bov\u00ed a Catalunya durant el per\u00edode 2013-2015, conclou que va ser de 142.000 euros\/any.<\/p>\n

La cisticercosi (el bov\u00ed \u00e9s l’hoste intermediari del par\u00e0sit en el m\u00fascul) o teniasi (els humans som l’hoste definitiu a l’intest\u00ed) t\u00e9 un cost total de 155.000 euros\/any, dels quals 142.000 euros\/any s\u00f3n per al sector carni i 13.000 euros\/any el cost associat per a les persones afectades.<\/p>\n

Tant a nivell sectorial com de salut humana, la cisticercosi \/ teniasi t\u00e9 una incid\u00e8ncia molt baixa a l\u2019escorxador (0,01%) i en la poblaci\u00f3 (41 a 63 casos\/any).<\/p>\n

Pel que fa a la facturaci\u00f3 total del sector, el cost que representa \u00e9s baix, sent la partida del cost de m\u00e9s incid\u00e8ncia el degut a les inspeccions postmortem (82% del cost i suportat per les autoritats sanit\u00e0ries), seguit per les p\u00e8rdues derivades del decom\u00eds i congelaci\u00f3 de canals (9,4%, suportat pel sector carni) i del cost associat a la teniasi en persones (8,6%).<\/p>\n
