The president of the meat business association \u00a0ANAFRIC<\/strong><\/a>, Jos\u00e9 Friguls<\/strong>, has travelled to Brussels this week with the aim of strengthening the position of the meat industry<\/strong> before various European institutions in the new legislature.<\/p>\n

During his stay, Friguls held meetings with various political representatives<\/strong>, as well as regional delegations in Brussels<\/strong> and officials from the European Commission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Within the agenda, meetings have also been held with some business organisations<\/strong> and European associations<\/strong>, in order to exchange information on the common threats faced by the sector in Europe.<\/p>\n

The entities have underlined the importance of intensifying the presence<\/strong> and support of the sector<\/strong> in the European capital to strengthen the sector.<\/p>\n

With this trip, ANAFRIC<\/strong> reinforces its commitment to defending the meat sector, with more detailed monitoring of the development of policies that directly affect the industry.<\/p>\n
