attended the conference organized by the <strong>Barcelona Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> in Vic to analyze the impact of the trade agreement between the <strong>European Union<\/strong> and <strong>Mercosur<\/strong> on the livestock sector, specifically on pork and beef production.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"554\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" <strong>Vall Companys, ASOPROVAC, and ANPROGAPOR<\/strong>, as well as experts from <strong>Banc Sabadell<\/strong> and the <strong>Ministry of Agriculture<\/strong> itself, who offered a technical, economic, and sectoral perspective on the challenges and opportunities that this agreement could pose for the Spanish agri-food industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Geopolitical Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the event, key issues were addressed, such as the competitiveness of domestic production versus imports, the international geopolitical context, the need to ensure product sustainability and traceability, and the European strategy for international trade in agri-food products.<\/p>\n<p>At ANAFRIC, we value these spaces for dialogue, analysis, and positioning, where we can share concerns and proposals with other relevant stakeholders in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue working to ensure that the voice of our companies is present in all decision-making
