The plan includes 33 specific measures and contemplates the creation of a sector observatory for ongoing monitoring and the identification of at-risk farms, implementing specific actions to ensure their viability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2119\" data-end=\"2570\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-21817 \" src=\"https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6599-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"817\" height=\"545\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6599-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6599-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6599-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6599-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_6599-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 817px) 100vw, 817px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2572\" data-end=\"2835\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Director General of Agriculture and Livestock, Rosa Altisent.<\/p>\n<p>Extensive livestock farming is key to the production of sustainable, quality food, the conservation of biodiversity, and the fight against climate change, in addition to generating a circular economy and facilitating generational renewal in rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>The plan&#8217;s actions are structured into five major blocks:<\/p>\n<p>Improving production and marketing<\/p>\n<p>Cross-cutting support lines and sustainability measures<\/p>\n<p>Wildlife management and herd protection<\/p>\n<p>Training and technical advice<\/p>\n<p>Assessment and monitoring of the sector<\/p>\n<p>The plan also includes technical support points throughout the country, a network of agricultural schools and research centers, and the promotion of quality seals such as PGIs and native breeds.
