Pork<\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"1283\">\n<li data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"993\">2.68 million tons, 66.7% of the total.\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"993\">Growth of 7.3% compared to 2023.\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"993\">About 28 million animals were slaughtered.\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"993\">Catalonia leads the way with almost 1.05 million tons (+3.1%).\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"993\">Notable growth: Arag\u00f3n (+14.1%), Murcia (+21%), and Extremadura (+28%), the latter driven by Iberian slaughter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1307\">? Poultry<\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1548\">\n<li data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1343\"><strong>927,852 tons (+5.8%).<\/strong>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1343\">In five years, the sector has grown from 800,000 tons to almost 930,000 tons, driven by domestic consumption due to its more affordable price.\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1343\">Data by regional government cannot be broken down with current figures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1550\" data-end=\"1575\">? Beef<\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1800\">\n<li data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1611\"><strong>345,437 tons (-3.7%).<\/strong>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1611\">Decreases in almost all regions except Catalonia (+4.2%, to 72,715 tons).\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1611\">Notable declines: Galicia (-8.5%), Valencian Community (-5.5%), Castile and Le\u00f3n (-1.7%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"1826\">? Sheep meat<\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"2216\">\n<li data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"1880\"><strong>48,954 tons, below 50,000 tons.<\/strong>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"1880\">In the last five years, it has fallen by 18.6%.\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"1880\">Between 2024 and 2025, the decline was smaller: -3% compared to -10.7% the previous year.\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"1880\">In June, a 16.4% drop was recorded compared to the same month in 2024.\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1827\" data-end=\"1880\">Castilla y Le\u00f3n leads with 12,144 tons (-14.2%), followed by Catalonia (6,535 tons, stable) and Aragon (+3.2%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2244\">???
