The Interprofessional Agri-Food Association of White-Coated Pork (INTERPORC) received the 2025 Cub\u00ed Award last night for product care and defense of gastronomic quality. The award, granted by the Federation of Chefs and Pastry Chefs of Spain (FACYRE), recognizes its work in promoting quality, sustainability, and innovation in the white-coated pork sector.<\/p>\n

This is the 9th edition of these awards, a highly significant event in the national gastronomic world, which each year recognizes institutions, professionals, and organizations committed to supporting Spanish gastronomy.<\/p>\n

In this regard, Alberto Herranz, general director of INTERPORC, emphasized that “this award is a tribute to the collaborative work of the entire white-coated pork sector, which daily demonstrates its ability to offer top-quality, healthy, and sustainable products at the service of Spanish gastronomy and consumers.”<\/p>\n

In his speech, Herranz also thanked FACYRE for its work in promoting and disseminating Spanish gastronomy, as well as for recognizing professionals, organizations, and sectors that contribute to strengthening the sector’s quality, excellence, and social commitment.<\/p>\n

At the event, which brought together prestigious chefs, business leaders, institutional representatives, politicians, actors, and public figures, the following were also honored: Roser Torras, founder of<\/p>\n

GSR and director of San Sebasti\u00e1n Gastronomika, in the Support to Gastronomy category; Fira Internacional de Barcelona, \u200b\u200bin the Gastronomic Promotion category; The Guisanderas de Asturias (A\u00edda Rosales, Amada \u00c1lvarez, and Argentina Pel\u00e1ez) received the award for Tradition and Defense of Local Cuisine; Javier Antonja, editor and creative director of Montagud Editores, received the award for Dissemination of Gastronomy; Paco Torreblanca, master pastry chef, received the award for Career in Pastry; To\u00f1o P\u00e9rez, chef and creator of the Atrio restaurant, received the award for Concept and Career in Cooking; Jos\u00e9 Polo, co-founder and head waiter at Atrio, received the award for Concept and Career in Dining Room Management; and Vicente del Bosque, former soccer player and national team coach, received the Solidarity Award.
