brought together leading professionals from the business, scientific and academic fields, with the support of the <strong data-start=\"2837\" data-end=\"2861\">Government of Aragon<\/strong> and in collaboration with <strong data-start=\"2888\" data-end=\"2899\">YO DONA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2904\" data-end=\"3169\">The opening address was given by <strong data-start=\"2937\" data-end=\"2955\">Aitziber Lanza<\/strong>, Director General of Food Quality and Safety of the Government of Aragon, who emphasized the importance of promoting policies that foster equal opportunities and female leadership throughout the agri-food chain.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3171\" data-end=\"3453\">A round table discussion followed, moderated by <strong data-start=\"3219\" data-end=\"3237\">Cristina Aldaz<\/strong>, Deputy Director of <em data-start=\"3258\" data-end=\"3267\">YO DONA<\/em>, addressing the main <strong data-start=\"3289\" data-end=\"3373\">challenges and opportunities for women\u2019s participation in the agri-food industry<\/strong>, their role in innovation, and their contribution to sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3455\" data-end=\"3475\">Speakers included:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3476\" data-end=\"3951\">\n<li data-start=\"3476\" data-end=\"3569\">\n<p data-start=\"3478\" data-end=\"3569\"><strong data-start=\"3478\" data-end=\"3509\">Mercedes Sebasti\u00e1n Lafuente<\/strong>, Head of Production and Animal Health at <strong data-start=\"3551\" data-end=\"3566\">Grupo Jorge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3570\" data-end=\"3735\">\n<p data-start=\"3572\" data-end=\"3735\"><strong data-start=\"3572\" data-end=\"3594\">Leonor S\u00e1iz Amor\u00f3s<\/strong>, Corporate Director of Institutional and External Relations at <strong data-start=\"3658\" data-end=\"3678\">Familia Mart\u00ednez<\/strong> and Chair of the Communication Committee of <strong data-start=\"3723\" data-end=\"3732\">ANICE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3736\" data-end=\"3835\">\n<p data-start=\"3738\" data-end=\"3835\"><strong data-start=\"3738\" data-end=\"3761\">Elisa P\u00e9rez Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>, Researcher at the <strong data-start=\"3781\" data-end=\"3832\">Animal Health Research Center (CISA-INIA, CSIC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3836\" data-end=\"3951\">\n<p data-start=\"3838\" data-end=\"3951\"><strong data-start=\"3838\" data-end=\"3866\">Isabel Rodr\u00edguez Hurtado<\/strong>, Dean of the <strong data-start=\"3880\" data-end=\"3948\">Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3953\" data-end=\"4225\">During the discussion, participants agreed that <strong data-start=\"4001\" data-end=\"4130\">the integration of women at all levels of the agri-food sector is key to strengthening its competitiveness and sustainability<\/strong>, while contributing new leadership perspectives based on innovation, training and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4227\" data-end=\"4451\">The session was closed by <strong data-start=\"4253\" data-end=\"4278\">Manuel Garc\u00eda Lorenzo<\/strong>, President of <strong data-start=\"4293\" data-end=\"4306\">INTERPORC<\/strong>, who reaffirmed the organization\u2019s commitment to equality
