{"id":22952,"date":"2025-11-10T09:00:50","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T08:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anafric.es\/?p=22952"},"modified":"2025-11-10T09:00:50","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T08:00:50","slug":"jose-friguls-renews-his-mandate-as-president-of-anafric-for-the-seventh-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anafric.es\/en\/jose-friguls-renews-his-mandate-as-president-of-anafric-for-the-seventh-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Jos\u00e9 Friguls renews his mandate as president of ANAFRIC for the seventh time"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"2154\" data-end=\"2483\">ANAFRIC has held its General Assembly, during which Jos\u00e9 Friguls was re-elected president of the association for the seventh consecutive time, a position he has held since 2002.<br data-start=\"2331\" data-end=\"2334\" \/>The Board of Directors has also been ratified, endorsing its management and track record in defending the interests of the livestock and meat sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2485\" data-end=\"2736\">Over the years, ANAFRIC has consolidated itself as one of the most representative business associations in the national meat industry, bringing together companies from all segments \u2014sheep and goat, beef, and pork\u2014 and with a presence throughout Spain.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2738\" data-end=\"2776\"><strong data-start=\"2738\" data-end=\"2776\">Continuity in defending the sector<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2778\" data-end=\"2995\">In this new term, the Board will continue to focus its efforts on strengthening the positioning of the meat sector, both nationally and internationally, highlighting its economic, social, and territorial contribution.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2997\" data-end=\"3052\">The main strategic priorities for this stage include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3053\" data-end=\"3398\">\n<li data-start=\"3053\" data-end=\"3164\">\n<p data-start=\"3055\" data-end=\"3164\">Reinforcing the value and image of meat as a high-quality, safe, and essential food within a balanced diet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3165\" data-end=\"3288\">\n<p data-start=\"3167\" data-end=\"3288\">Simplifying administrative bureaucracy by promoting more agile and effective communication with public administrations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3289\" data-end=\"3398\">\n<p data-start=\"3291\" data-end=\"3398\">Defending the sector\u2019s competitiveness in the face of new regulatory, environmental, and market challenges.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3400\" data-end=\"3560\">Friguls also emphasized that joint work between companies, associations, and administrations is essential to ensure the future and sustainability of the sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3562\" data-end=\"3835\">\u201cThe Spanish meat industry is a driving force for the economy and employment, especially in rural areas.
