This database links management practices to different farm categories, deducing manure production and composition to improve agronomic and environmental management.<\/p>\n<p>How does it work?<\/p>\n<p>Using a pre-established decision tree, the system identifies practices that help generate higher-quality amendments based on their composition. Furthermore, by saving the information, it serves as a personal database, allowing farmers to compare the different results after applying recommended farm management practices.<\/p>\n<p>The Provacuno DSS Manure app is part of a project whose main objective is to develop a Best Available Techniques (BAT) proposal for advanced cattle manure agro-composting aimed at mitigating climate change. To implement this, a set of improved, low-cost, and viable cattle manure management protocols has been designed for short- to medium-term farm use.
