INTERPORC has begun its participation in Alimentaria (Barcelona, \u200b\u200bMarch 23-26) with a program of activities designed to bring the sector’s work and its commitment to balanced and sustainable food closer to professionals and the public.<\/p>\n

During the four days of the fair, one of the most important on the international calendar, the INTERPORC stand will become a key space for promoting Spanish white-coated pork, welcoming thousands of visitors, as well as national and international authorities and representatives of distributors from priority markets for the sector’s exports.<\/p>\n

The agenda includes several cooking demonstrations by chef \u00c0ngels Puntas; tastings of prepared products and ham with master ham carver Jes\u00fas Garc\u00eda; and a gastronomic competition with students from the Barcelona School of Hospitality and Tourism, a commitment to young talent linked to white-coated pork products. Visitors to the stand will also be able to enjoy a sandwich service, reinforcing the experiential nature of the event.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, INTERPORC’s presence in the activities organized around the fair will also be very significant. Among other events, Alberto Herranz, the Interprofessional Association’s Director General, will participate in the round table discussion ‘Today’s Food: The Challenge of Aligning Regulations, Economy, Innovation, and Consumption,’ organized by the Triptolemos Foundation, and will also take part on Wednesday in an event hosted by the Mediterranean Diet Foundation.<\/p>\n
