The Castile and Le\u00f3n Regional Government has finalized its call for applications for aid to promote agricultural training, allocating one million euros to train more than 8,400 students throughout the region.<\/p>\n

The initiative, which has exhausted 100% of its available budget, includes the organization of more than 300 courses, taught by 71 accredited entities\u2014including professional agricultural organizations, associations, and cooperatives\u2014totaling more than 11,300 hours of instruction.<\/p>\n

The aid is structured around two main lines:<\/p>\n

Entry into Agricultural Activity<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nearly 300,000 euros are allocated to the Courses for Incorporation into Agricultural Businesses (CIEA), which enable participants to meet the requirements established by the European Union to access aid under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).<\/p>\n

\n609 students expected<\/p>\n

Continuing education for the sector<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second funding line, totaling \u20ac700,000, will train approximately 7,800 students:<\/p>\n

Territorial distribution and content<\/strong><\/p>\n

The in-person and blended learning courses are distributed throughout the region, with the following locations:<\/p>\n

\u00c1vila and Le\u00f3n: 43 courses each
\nSalamanca: 42
\nBurgos: 35
\nZamora: 21
\nPalencia: 13
\nValladolid: 12
\nSegovia: 10
\nSoria: 5<\/p>\n

Key content areas include:<\/p>\n

Viticulture (27 courses)
\nCheesemaking (16)
\nPruning techniques (16)
\nExtensive agriculture and livestock farming<\/p>\n

New this year are courses in beverage production Fermented and healthy.<\/p>\n

In addition, courses are offered for obtaining or renewing the user license for plant protection products and certifications in animal welfare.<\/p>\n

This initiative focuses on young people entering the sector, facilitating their adaptation to the challenges of innovation, technology, and sustainability, with the goal of achieving more efficient and competitive farms.<\/p>\n
