ANAFRIC and Alimentaria FoodTech have formalized a collaboration agreement to strengthen the visibility of the meat sector and enhance its role in the technological transformation of the food industry.<\/p>\n

The next edition of Alimentaria FoodTech will be held in Barcelona from October 6 to 8, 2026, solidifying its position as a key meeting point for professionals across the entire food value chain, from production to distribution, with a particular focus on automation, digitalization, sustainability, and food safety.<\/p>\n

This agreement, signed with Fira de Barcelona, \u200b\u200bthe event organizer, establishes a framework for cooperation to promote the participation of ANAFRIC member companies in one of the leading trade fairs for innovation, technology, and processes in the food industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Joint Boost for the Meat Sector<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through this alliance, ANAFRIC will help promote Alimentaria FoodTech among its members, facilitating their active participation in the event. For its part, the trade fair will offer the association visibility through its channels and spaces, as well as enhance the meat sector’s presence in strategic areas such as the FoodTech Innovarena innovation space.<\/p>\n

The agreement also includes the organization of roundtables, presentations, and success stories featuring companies from the sector.<\/p>\n

The director of Alimentaria FoodTech, Ricardo M\u00e1rquez, emphasized that: \u201cThis collaboration with ANAFRIC reinforces our commitment to one of the most important sectors of the food industry. The meat sector is key to the technological transformation underway, and we want to be the meeting point where these solutions are fostered.\u201d<\/p>\n

For his part, ANAFRIC President Jos\u00e9 Friguls stated: \u201cThis agreement represents a great opportunity for our member companies, as it will allow them access to an environment of innovation, knowledge, and networking that is essential for addressing the current challenges of the meat sector.\u201d<\/p>\n
