With this objective, <strong data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2314\">Leather Cluster Barcelona<\/strong> has launched the <strong data-start=\"2332\" data-end=\"2354\">Leather Young Club<\/strong>, a new sectoral committee created to provide a meeting point, training and collaboration space for the new generation of professionals in the leather industry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"914\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-25845 \" src=\"https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Leather-Young-1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Leather-Young\" width=\"692\" height=\"519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Leather-Young-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Leather-Young-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Leather-Young-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Leather-Young-1-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/anafric.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Leather-Young-1.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"2516\" data-end=\"2786\">The first meeting brought together <strong data-start=\"2551\" data-end=\"2577\">17 young professionals<\/strong> from member companies, who had the opportunity to learn about the cluster&#8217;s main initiatives in areas such as innovation, sustainability, internationalisation, training and participation in European projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2788\" data-end=\"3094\">One of the highlights of the event was the exchange of experiences among participants, who shared the reality of their companies\u2014many of them family-owned\u2014and discussed some of the sector&#8217;s main challenges, including generational renewal, talent attraction, innovation and the evolution of business models.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3096\" data-end=\"3371\">The creation of the <strong data-start=\"3116\" data-end=\"3138\">Leather Young Club<\/strong> responds to a need identified by the cluster during meetings with its member companies: to encourage the involvement of younger generations and prepare them to take on leadership roles in a sector undergoing constant transformation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3373\" data-end=\"3598\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Leather Cluster Barcelona believes this initiative will become a benchmark space for young professionals, fostering collaboration between companies and helping to ensure the competitiveness and future of the leather industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Generational renewal is one of the major challenges facing the agri-food and industrial sectors.
