ANAFRIC is participating in IMPLICAT<\/span>, the new brand promoted by the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Catalonia to give visibility, coherence and projection to the Catalan agri-food system. The initiative is part of the Catalonia Food Strategy 2025-2028 and aims to move towards a more sustainable, competitive and recognised food model.<\/p>\n

Through its participation, ANAFRIC joins a collective project that aims to bring together all stakeholders in the food chain, from primary production to industry, distribution, retail, catering and the end consumer.<\/p>\n

\"IMPLICAT\"<\/p>\n

A shared identity for the agri-food sector<\/strong><\/p>\n

IMPLICAT was created with the aim of providing the Catalan agri-food sector with its own shared, cross-cutting brand, capable of unifying initiatives, generating a collective identity and building a common narrative that connects territory, economy, food and health.<\/p>\n

The project seeks to highlight a strategic sector for Catalonia, characterised by its strong territorial roots, export capacity and combination of tradition, innovation and talent.<\/p>\n

In this context, ANAFRIC’s participation makes it possible to incorporate the perspective of livestock and meat companies into an initiative that promotes collaboration between the different links in the food chain.<\/p>\n

Sustainability, competitiveness and food quality<\/strong><\/p>\n

IMPLICAT proposes a broad vision of food quality, linked not only to product characteristics but also to environmental, social and economic sustainability, health, consumer confidence and commitment to the territory.<\/p>\n

The initiative places the sector at the centre of its development and promotes shared responsibility among all stakeholders to move towards a more sustainable, innovative and competitive food system.<\/p>\n

In its first phase, IMPLICAT is established as a promotional brand. Subsequently, it is expected to evolve into a certification brand that will identify products, companies and establishments that meet criteria aligned with the Catalonia Food Strategy.<\/p>\n

ANAFRIC, committed to the future of the sector<\/strong><\/p>\n

ANAFRIC’s participation in IMPLICAT is part of its work representing and defending the interests of livestock and meat companies, as well as its commitment to sustainability, innovation and competitiveness in the sector.<\/p>\n

Through this initiative, the association contributes to a shared project that seeks to strengthen recognition of the Catalan agri-food system, highlight the work of its professionals and companies, and consolidate collaboration among all stakeholders in the food chain.<\/p>\n
