INTERPORC will hold the 2nd Murcia Pig Forum on 27 October in Lorca (Murcia)<\/strong>, a professional meeting that will take place within the framework of SEPOR and will bring together representatives from companies, institutions and experts to analyse the current situation of the sector and its future prospects.<\/p>\n

Under the slogan “Adapting to Keep Competing”<\/strong>, the forum will address how new health, geopolitical, legislative and economic circumstances are shaping an increasingly complex and demanding environment for companies in the Spanish pig sector.<\/p>\n

The aim of this event is to share knowledge, anticipate changes and identify opportunities to strengthen competitiveness and maintain the leadership of the Spanish pig sector in international markets.<\/p>\n

A programme focused on the sector’s health and competitiveness<\/h3>\n

The event, which will be hosted by Azucena Mar\u00edn, CEO of Comunicolog\u00eda<\/strong>, will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the official opening and a presentation on the general situation of the pig sector in the Region of Murcia, delivered by a representative of the regional administration.<\/p>\n

At 6:00 p.m., Alberto Herranz, Director General of INTERPORC<\/strong>, will give a presentation entitled “The Spanish Pig Sector Facing a Change of Cycle: Keys to Competing in the New Global Landscape”<\/em>, in which he will analyse the main factors influencing the sector’s development.<\/p>\n

Animal health will be the focus of the first round table discussion, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., entitled “Animal Health 2030. Is the Pig Supply Chain Prepared for the New Challenges?”<\/em>. Moderated by Miguel \u00c1ngel Higuera, Director General of ANPROGAPOR<\/strong>, it will feature Cinta Prieto<\/strong>, from the Complutense University of Madrid; Guillermo Ramis<\/strong>, from the University of Murcia; and Jordi Baliellas<\/strong>, from GSP Lleida.<\/p>\n

This will be followed at 7:15 p.m. by a second round table discussion focusing on the sector’s business and commercial prospects: “Competing in a Changing World: What Will the Pig Sector Look Like in the Next Decade?”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The discussion will be moderated by Giuseppe Aloisio, Director General of ANICE<\/strong>, and will bring together representatives from leading companies in the Spanish meat industry: Juan A. C\u00e1novas<\/strong>, Deputy General Director of El Pozo Alimentaci\u00f3n; Francisco Mi\u00f1arro<\/strong>, General Director of La Comarca Food Group; Antonio S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, Manager of Porcisan; Ram\u00f3n Soler<\/strong>, Export Director of Faccsa-Prolongo; and Guillermo Beltr\u00e1n<\/strong>, Assistant to Management at Famadesa.<\/p>\n

This round table will provide an opportunity to address the challenges facing companies as markets evolve, regulatory requirements increase and the international context changes, as well as the strategies needed to remain competitive over the next decade.<\/p>\n

The official closing ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m., led by Alberto Herranz, Director General of INTERPORC. Afterwards, at 8:15 p.m., a networking dinner and white pork tasting will be held, designed as a meeting and exchange space for the professionals attending the event.<\/p>\n

Registration and free access to SEPOR<\/h3>\n

The 2nd Murcia Pig Forum will take place within the framework of SEPOR, one of the main professional events for the livestock and pig sectors.<\/p>\n

All forum attendees will receive free registration for the International Symposium on Pig Production<\/strong>, courtesy of SEPOR. This registration will also provide access to the “Alcalde Francisco J\u00f3dar Alonso” Exhibition and Congress Centre in Lorca during the event.<\/p>\n

The meeting represents an opportunity for professionals, companies and organisations linked to the pig sector to exchange experiences, learn about the trends that will shape its development and strengthen their professional relationships.<\/p>\n
