According to <strong>ASAJA<\/strong>, based on provisional data from Spain\u2019s State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT), Spanish exports increased by 6.8% in volume and 14.9% in value during the first seven months of 2026 compared with the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Portugal and Italy were the leading destinations, receiving 33,465 and 22,188 tonnes respectively, followed by Algeria, with 16,883 tonnes. By contrast, frozen beef exports fell by 11% to 19,018 tonnes.<\/p>\n<p>Live cattle followed a different trend: exports of bovines weighing more than 300 kilograms fell from 50,570 to 17,702 head. In this category, shipments to Morocco dropped from 36,316 animals to none.
