Antonio Valls<\/strong>, Director of Food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The food industry is the main industry in Europe. <strong>In Spain it occupies the 4th place.<\/strong><\/li><li> For the Government of Spain it is a <strong>strategic sector<\/strong> that works with the<strong> highest quality standard<\/strong>s to have a quality, healthy and safe product.<\/li><li>The Government, through <strong>Alimentos de Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>, wants to value the industry, which connects with the consumer, who determines the products he wants to consume. Because everything that is valued and known, is not wasted <\/li><li>The food industry has billed \u20ac 116 billion, about 3% of GDP.
