ANAFRIC, a meat business association with a broad representation of companies in the sheep, goat and beef sector in Spain, welcomes the decision of the Moroccan government to authorise the import of fresh Spanish meat. “This news represents a great step forward for the sector and for the companies that make it up,” says José Friguls, president of ANAFRIC.
Friguls explained that ANAFRIC has been working for 3 years, holding meetings with different administrations to request the review of different aspects to achieve this market opening. The association highlights that this measure “opens up great opportunities” to strengthen the presence of Spanish meat in Morocco and in other international markets. “It is great news for the sector, and ANAFRIC will continue working for the expansion of our companies in foreign markets,” he added.
