ANAFRIC has celebrated the agreement to reduce the fiscal burden faced by micro, small and medium-sized companies in Spain, following the negotiations of the different parliamentary groups and the Spanish Government regarding fiscal reform and the reduction of corporate tax.
The association, which requested this measure from the parliamentary groups, has highlighted that this measure will help to “promote the competitiveness and productivity of the companies that will benefit from this reduction, including sectors such as meat, hospitality, retail trade, and others professional services”, highlighted José Friguls, president of ANAFRIC.
According to the Hacienda estimate, the progressive reduction from 25% to 20% will allow companies to save approximately 2,500 million euros in the next five years, and annual savings could reach between 600 and 700 million euros from 2030 .
The association has reiterated the need to implement R&D tax deductions for small and medium-sized companies, in order to be able to respond to future challenges and market demands in terms of technology and innovation. He also pointed out the importance of improving the treatment of capitalization reserves.
ANAFRIC applauds the fact that bonuses are awarded “to companies that reinvest part of their profits in their own growth”.
