ANAFRIC has travelled to Brussels to exchange opinions in defence of the meat industry in the new legislature

The president of the meat business association  ANAFRIC, José Friguls, has travelled to Brussels this week with the aim of strengthening the position of the meat industry before various European institutions in the new legislature.

During his stay, Friguls held meetings with various political representatives, as well as regional delegations in Brussels and officials from the European Commission.

Within the agenda, meetings have also been held with some business organisations and European associations, in order to exchange information on the common threats faced by the sector in Europe.

The entities have underlined the importance of intensifying the presence and support of the sector in the European capital to strengthen the sector.

With this trip, ANAFRIC reinforces its commitment to defending the meat sector, with more detailed monitoring of the development of policies that directly affect the industry.
