Spain registered a positive balance of 11,151.2 million euros in agri-food trade between January and October 2023, which represents an increase of 7.92% compared to the same period of the previous year, according to EfeAgro, which collects data from the Secretary of State for Commerce.
The report on the Spanish trade balance during the first ten months of the year reflects that Spanish exports of food, beverages and tobacco reached 55,449.1 million in the first ten months of 2023, with an increase of 5%.
Foreign sales of meat products grew by 7.5%, to 10,073 million, as did imports, which increased by 16.7% and totaled 2,796.4 million.
