ICO loans for farmers and ranchers affected by the DANA can now be requested

The Official State Gazette has published the call for applications for the ICO-MAPA-SAECA line of subsidies with loans from the Official Credit Institute (ICO) and guarantees from the State Agricultural Guarantee Company (SAECA) specifically for farmers and ranchers affected by the DANA for a total amount for both lines of 53,150,000 euros.

The aid is granted on a direct grant basis in strict order of submission of applications, and is de minimis in nature.

The aid is intended for owners of agricultural holdings affected by the DANA and consists of a 15% bonus on the principal of ICO loans or the equivalent in each year in which the application period for the call is open, with a maximum amount of 15,000 euros per beneficiary, with a term of up to 15 years.

These credits may include grace periods of up to three years, depending on the duration of the loan. No subsidies will be granted for the part of the loan that exceeds 100,000 euros.

The deadline for submitting applications will begin on January 16, 2025 and will end on September 1, 2026.
