INTERPORC will hold the ‘Murcia Pork Forum 2025’ in Lorca on October 28. The meeting will bring together companies, institutions, and experts to discuss the sector’s main challenges and strengthen the Region of Murcia’s role as an international benchmark in production and sustainability.
Under the slogan “A sector that transforms the present to continue leading the future,” the main challenges and opportunities of one of the most dynamic and strategic sectors of the regional and national economy will be analyzed. Three roundtable discussions will address key issues such as “Animal health as a pillar of global leadership for Spanish pork,” “The Spanish production model as an international benchmark,” and “Competitiveness in a constantly changing global market.”
Participants include representatives from companies and organizations such as Cefusa, Jisap, Porcisan, Grupo Francés, El Pozo, La Comarca Food Group, Faccsa, and Famadesa, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Anprogapor, ANICE, and regional livestock associations such as the Association of Livestock Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia.
“The Murcia Pig Forum is an essential event for reflecting on the present and future of our sector, which is a driver of economic growth, an international benchmark, and an example of commitment to sustainability and animal welfare,” said Alberto Herranz, General Director of INTERPORC.
The Forum is supported by the Government of the Region of Murcia and the Lorca Livestock, Industrial, and Agri-Food Fair (SEPOR).
