The trade union organisations (CCOO-UGT-CIG), after reiterating their request for a 5% wage increase for each year of validity of the Collective Agreement, have unilaterally abandoned the negotiating table, during a recess, without formulating any response to the business proposals.
The business organisations (ANAFRIC-ANICE-FECIC-AGEMCEX-ANAGRASA) have jointly drawn up various proposals to reach an agreement in principle for the signing of the Collective Agreement.
The agreement proposal made at today’s meeting, November 8, 2024, takes into account the current situation of the CPI (1.8%) and the CPI forecasts for the year 2025. The employers’ proposal has been:
Year 2024: Increase of 2.8% with effect from January 12, 2024 (2.2% + 0.6% already paid in 2024) with a salary review clause capped at 1% for calculating future salaries.
Year 2025: Increase of 2.2% with effect from January 1, 2025 with a salary review clause capped at 1% for calculating future salaries, plus a reduction of the annual working day of 10 hours, that is, the maximum annual working day would be 1,750 hours per year.
In addition, business organizations have shown their willingness to work on these matters:
· Functional Scope
· Compensation and Absorption
· Updating Teleworking
· Leaves without pay.
· Compensation for overtime with rest.
· Translator for specific moments of the employment relationship.
· Defining criteria for the use of paid leave.
· Training Contracts, Fixed Discontinuous Contracts and Hiring for Production Circumstances.
· Joint Commission.
After this gesture, a strike call will not be ruled out in the coming weeks.
