The latest report published by CEXGAN does not offer good news regarding meat exports in the month of September. In the accumulated year of 2022, from January to September, 1,359,089 tons of meat and meat preparations have been exported to third countries, which is 19% less than in the same period of the previous year.
By subsector, in September all meat products reduced their exports: pork meat and preparations fell by 11%; those of beef, -26%; sheep and goats, -34%; those of birds, -47%; and other meats and preparations 7.4%.

The main reason for the drop must be found in exports to China, which have been reduced by half.
