The beef and veal sector in Spain, through the interprofessional PROVACUNO as a representative organization of the entire livestock, industrial and marketing sector of beef, has launched its donation campaign in which it will deliver 2,000 kilos of meat to hospitals from Spain and solidarity centers on the occasion of COVID-19.
Many people are suffering the effects of this pandemic but from the sector “we are sure that together we will overcome the curve and contain the virus. Each of us must collaborate and act responsibly, ”according to Javier López, director of the organization.
PROVACUNO is donating 250 kilos a week to the IFEMA field hospital in Madrid, and to the Vall d’Hebron hospital in Barcelona. To these shipments, already underway, others will be added so that despite the difficulties faced by both the sick and the most disadvantaged, they do so with the necessary strength that beef provides.
