The General Council of Agri-Food Interprofessional Organizations (OIA) has approved the application for a standard extension renewal submitted by PROVACUNO, the Interprofessional Beef Organization, of which ANAFRIC is an active member.
This new standard extension will be valid for five years, from January 2, 2026, to December 31, 2030, and will allow for the continued development of key initiatives for the promotion and cohesion of the Spanish beef sector.
The priority objectives of this phase include promotion, communication, and image actions, both in the national and international markets, in addition to support and coordination for the sector itself. The estimated distribution of resources will be between 45% and 55% for the national market, between 35% and 40% for the international market, and between 5% and 10% for sector support.
At ANAFRIC, we celebrate this decision, which reinforces the beef sector’s commitment to a common strategy aimed at giving visibility to the product, boosting its competitiveness, and ensuring better integration of the entire meat supply chain.
