INTERPORC will participate in two major international fairs, WOFEX Philippines 2025 and Supermarket Trade Show Japan 2026, within the framework of the collaboration agreement signed with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), the Interprofessional Sheep and Goat Meat Association (INTEROVIC), and the Interprofessional Beef Association (PROVACUNO), for the joint promotion of Spanish meat products in international markets.
This annual agreement aims to boost the image and presence of Spanish meat products, including white-coated pork, in strategic countries, through joint actions that promote greater visibility, resource efficiency, and institutional support.
INTERPORC, as an active participant in this agreement, will organize joint pavilions with companies from the pork sector at both fairs. These spaces will be designed in accordance with the institutional image regulations of the General State Administration and will prominently display the logos of the Government of Spain, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and the #alimentosdespaña promotional seal.
“The signing of this agreement contributes to further strengthening the image of the country-product-sector brand of the Spanish white-coated pork sector in target international markets,” emphasized Daniel de Miguel, Deputy Director of INTERPORC. Furthermore, “it strengthens, expands, and professionalizes INTERPORC’s promotional activities, facilitating a greater international presence at a lower cost, with greater institutional support and a more strategic and collaborative approach.”
The joint presence at WOFEX Philippines and the Supermarket Trade Show Japan, in addition to generating commercial opportunities for participating companies, allows INTERPORC to continue promoting the excellence of the Spanish pork sector: a sector committed to quality, animal welfare, and sustainability, and which is a key component of Spain’s agri-food economy.
This agreement represents a further step in INTERPORC’s internationalization strategy, which for years has led international promotion initiatives, consolidating Spanish white-coated pork as a global benchmark in quality, innovation, and food safety.
