The CESFAC Foundation organizes the 12th edition of its research awards

The CESFAC Foundation has announced the twelfth edition of its prestigious annual awards aimed at promoting scientific research in the field of animal nutrition. This initiative, once again this year, seeks to build bridges between academic knowledge and professional practice in the animal nutrition sector.

With the firm commitment to continue promoting innovative and sustainable solutions, the awards will maintain their two usual categories: the “Miguel Ángel Díaz Yubero” Award, focusing on the relationship between Nutrition and Sustainability, and the “Carlos de Blas Beorlegui” Award, aimed at works on animal nutrition. Each award comes with a prize of 2,000 euros, a certificate, and publication of the winning work in the Mundo CESFAC magazine.

Interested researchers can submit their work until November 2nd, thus consolidating a tradition that has lasted more than a decade supporting the development of knowledge in a strategic area for livestock production and food safety.

“The continued success of this call demonstrates that there is an active scientific community committed to the future of animal nutrition,” said Josep Jové, president of the CESFAC Foundation. “At the Foundation, we believe that the transfer of knowledge between universities, technology centers, and companies is essential for moving toward more efficient, sustainable, and responsible production models. These awards are a tool to recognize and showcase the research talent that our sector so desperately needs.”

With this new edition, the CESFAC Foundation renews its commitment to applied science as a key pillar for addressing the current and future challenges of the animal feed industry in Spain.
