The documentary ‘Goodbye Cows’ by Provacuno, is presented in Salamaq

Salamaq 22 opens its doors this Friday, September 2. For 5 days, the fair will feature 461 unique exhibitors, from 34 provinces representing 15 Autonomous Communities and 3 regions of Portugal, occupying the 43,700 square meters of the Diputación’s fairgrounds. This year the contest stands out for the high number of tastings, which could not be held last year due to the pandemic. There will be aimed at professionals and others for the general public, and conferences aimed at professionals.

Provacuno will have a stand in the central pavilion where it wants to demonstrate for yet another year its commitment to all beef professionals, a strategic and key sector for the Spanish economy, society and environment. On this occasion, the interprofessional brings to Salamaq the latest technology of the moment to show what our world would be like if there were no cattle through a cow in hologram format and the documentary ‘Goodbye cows’.

That apocalyptic vision will be projected without beef and the consequences it would have. The way to represent it will be with the so-called cow of the future, through the holographic representation of a cow and that it would be the only one of its kind that would exist in that hypothetical world without livestock, back in 2036, according to Javier López, director of Provacuno.
