‘The essential value of meat’, the central theme of the VI Meat and Alternative Protein Forum

Under the motto ‘The essential value of meat’, the Meat and Alternative Protein Forum held on September 25 at the Auditorium of the Palau de Congressos de Girona, has explained the reality that the industry is going through, how it is working and what innovations currently exist and will exist in the near future on the market.

The Meat and Alternative Protein Forum is a biannual event that brings together experts, businessmen, researchers and professionals from the meat sector.

Organised by TecnoCARNE and IRTA (Institute for Agri-Food Research and Technology), this meeting offers a unique space to explore the latest trends, share knowledge and establish strategic contacts in a collaborative and dynamic environment. With 6 years of experience and leadership in the field, it has established itself as an essential meeting point for the meat and alternative protein industry in southern Europe.

The sixth edition of the Forum will focus on highlighting the importance of this food both nutritionally and economically. In a world that is moving towards new forms of protein production and consumption, meat remains a crucial source of nutrients and a key element in the global economy.

The programme of the VI Meat and Alternative Protein Forum will be divided into three thematic blocks:

  • The impact of meat at a social and economic level
Efficient and respectful processes in the meat industry
Meat: innovating to feed the new generations
