Zander Foods, a member of ANAFRIC, has formalized the acquisition of 100% of Vanguard Aliment Ibérica, Unión Charcutera, and Criven, thus consolidating its growth and verticalization strategy.
With this merger, the group has reached more than 5,000 points of sale in Catalonia and Southern Europe, expanding its sales network and strengthening its presence in the Horeca and retail channels.
Currently, Zander Foods has 280 employees and 18,000 m² of production facilities, managing prestigious brands such as Max Zander, Casa Marsà, Embotits Espina, Premier Carns, Imperia, and Elave, recognized for their tradition, quality, and innovation. It also operates in retail with the Tesi Fresc chain and in the restaurant sector with Max Zander Restauración.
The transaction also represents a 32% increase in staff by 2025, ensuring team continuity and strengthening logistics and distribution capacity. Vanguard, born from the merger of Criven and Unión Charcutera, based in Badalona, brings its experience as a leading distributor in Catalonia, with 1,800 m² of facilities and its own fleet of refrigerated vehicles that ensure fast and efficient deliveries.
