Pimec and ANAFRIC have formalised a strategic alliance at the European level that will enable ANAFRIC to strengthen its presence in Brussels through the use of Pimec’s infrastructure, particularly its office in the European capital.
Thanks to this collaboration, Pimec (Agri-food division) provides ANAFRIC with direct and operational access to the European institutions (the European Parliament and the European Commission, as well as contacts with Members of the European Parliament), making available to it an already consolidated and fully operational base. This alliance represents a significant step forward in strengthening the influence of ANAFRIC’s business livestock-meat sector, and of the meat sector as a whole, within European decision-making arenas.
The agreement highlights the role of the Pimec Europe delegation as a platform for support and guidance for member associations, reinforcing their capacity for representation and advocacy before the institutions of the European Union and contributing to a more effective defence of SME interests at EU level.
