Anafric has commissioned a legal report to the Euroforo law firm, Juli de Miquel to defend the meat companies affected by the suspension of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Hundreds of meat orders were consequently canceled by hotels and hospitality establishments, affected in turn by the decision of the organizers, which will cause great losses to the meat because, as the president of ANAFRIC, José Friguls, “in a week we will have the report and decide the steps to take,” he says.
“What is clear is that here we have harmed all, meat companies, fruit companies, fish companies … For now we do not enter into the reasons for the suspension or who is responsible, that we will assess it with the report in charge, but what is clear is that we have been harmed. ”
That is why Friguls recalls that “the goal of a meat company is to defend the interests of meat entrepreneurs and that is what we are going to do.” And stresses that “we will make the decision to be taken for the damage caused,” although Anafric does not want to talk about lawsuits until we see the conclusions of the report.
