The Junta de Castilla y León, through measures of various kinds, will provide liquidity to farmers and ranchers as it is the base of the agri-food sector, of great contribution to the GDP of the autonomous community and for which it has also asked for help from the Government of Spain. Aid is published on April 28.
The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Jesús Julio Carnero, will grant some aid related to the drought corresponding to the last two years, and others on the private storage of lamb and kid.
The counselor has also announced an order with circulating loans of up to 200,000 euros with public guarantee. Carnero, among other measures, recalled the signature scheduled for this Monday (April 27) of the new Campo de Encuentro platform, which through the website of the Ministry will provide a solution to products without exit due to the social crisis and sanitary of the Covid-19.
On the other hand, the regional administration will pay the interest of the extension for one more year of the loans requested in 2017 due to the drought, around 1.5 million, through an order that will be published this Tuesday (April 28) on Official Bulletin of Castilla y León.
