The Junta de Castilla León has announced that it is going to carry out a campaign to promote beef, with the aim that consumers are aware and encouraged when choosing these products in their shopping cart.
Beef is the second largest livestock sector in Castilla y León, with a production of 190,000 tons per year, the second autonomous community where more beef is produced, and a production value of 568 million euros.
As explained by the Board, “the strength of this sector is guaranteed by the excellence of the product and because Castilla y León has excellent means of production that guarantee the welfare of the animals on the farms”.
