Cedecarne presents the Spanish selection of butchers that will participate in the 2025 World Cup

The Spanish Confederation of Meat Retailers (Cedecarne) has presented the Spanish selection of butchers that will represent the Spanish sector in the next World Butcher’s Challenge that will be held in Paris in 2025.

The team is made up of nine butchers who have their selector and coach, and the team also has the official sponsorship of the interprofessional sheep and goat association (Interovic), as reported in a statement.

 

 

To date, Spain did not have an official team to represent it in the international competitions held in the sector, which has high recognition in many countries in Europe and America.

The members of the Spanish team are:

– Bruno Casal (Narón, A Coruña). Selector.
– José Luis Collazos (Valladolid). Coach.
– Alberto Ederra (Pamplona). Boning specialist.
– Verónica Escobar (Valencia). Specialist in boning and processing.
– Toni Gillaumet (Balaguer, Lleida). Specialist in boning and processing.
– Daniel Herrero (Fuenlabrada, Madrid). Specialist in boning and processing.
– Ana Paris (Balaguer, Lleida). Specialist in preparation and presentation.
– Raúl Pérez (Parla, Madrid). Specialist in preparation and presentation.
– José Luis Rodríguez (Madrid). Boning specialist.
– Raquel Vañó (Alcoy, Alicante). Specialist in preparation and presentation.
– Javier Vaqueiro (Vigo). Specialist in boning and processing.
