Florida has initiated the process to prohibit the manufacture and sale of cultured proteins

The House of Representatives of the North American state of Florida has begun the processing of a bill by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services that would prohibit the manufacture or sale of cultured proteins of meat origin in the state, according to the newspaper Eurocarne.

 

 

 

The proposed ban is supported by Florida agricultural groups. According to the republican Danny Álvarez, who presented the proposal, there are concerns about the food safety of the product finally obtained.
