The University of Zaragoza is going to have two new chairs as a result of the public-private link, in this case, thanks to the agreement reached between, on the one hand, Grupo Jorge Foundation, and, on the other, Nanta, an animal nutrition company.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza will have the Jorge Talent and Innovation Group Foundation Chair, which aims to promote new knowledge and applied practical training in the meat industry, the agri-food sector, renewable energies and corporate social responsibility.
On the other hand, the Nanta Precision Livestock Chair, also at the University of Zaragoza, has been the result of a collaboration agreement with NANTA, with the aim of supporting and encouraging training and research in the area of livestock. The Nanta Precision Livestock Chair begins its journey with Delia Lacasta, professor of the Department of Animal Pathology of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza, as director, and the participation of José María Bello, head of sheep and goat products at Nanta .
