INTERPORC and the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) have formalized a collaboration agreement making the Interprofessional Association a sponsor of the Olympic Festival, which will be held in Sierra Nevada from February 6 to 22, 2026, coinciding with the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The president of INTERPORC, Manuel García Lorenzo, and the president of the COE, Alejandro Blanco, signed the agreement at the Olympic institution’s headquarters in Madrid.
The Olympic Festival Milano-Cortina 2026 is an initiative of the International Olympic Committee that will allow fans to experience the atmosphere of the Winter Olympic Games from Spain. This will be the first time the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) organizes this international program in Spain, aiming to transform Sierra Nevada into a territorial and emotional extension of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Games, offering thousands of people the chance to enjoy the Olympic experience without having to travel to the official venue.
Medal for Flavor
This collaboration agreement marks the first step for the COE and INTERPORC to lay the groundwork for working together on future projects, such as the ‘Medal for Flavor.’ This initiative of the Spanish Olympic Committee aims to identify and promote gastronomic products and experiences aligned with the Olympic movement and Spanish identity, bringing together companies and organizations committed to health, sustainability, culture, and the values of sport.
