INTERPORC is participating in the Sierra Nevada Olympic Festival with a healthy eating promotion initiative, as part of its collaboration agreement with the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE), coinciding with the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
From February 16 to 21, the Interprofessional Association has set up a food truck in the Mirlo Blanco activity park, where hundreds of Serrano ham sandwiches will be distributed to attendees.
The Olympic Festival transforms Sierra Nevada into a meeting point to bring the values of sport—effort, self-improvement, and an active lifestyle—closer to the Spanish public. In this context, INTERPORC is joining the initiative, highlighting the importance of a balanced diet as a complement to athletic performance.
Serrano ham is a traditional food that provides high-biological-value protein, B vitamins, and minerals such as iron and zinc, making it compatible with a varied and balanced diet, even during periods of physical activity.
The director of INTERPORC, Alberto Herranz, pointed out that this collaboration allows them to “combine sport, health, and responsible eating in an environment that embodies the values of the Olympic movement.”
With this initiative, INTERPORC reinforces its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and highlighting the role of white-breed pork products in a balanced diet.
