Huesca, Navarra and Lleida launch a joint strategy to develop initiatives around extensive livestock farming and pastoralism, so that it is possible to apply for a European call.
The meeting between the representatives of the councils of the three cities has exchanged experiences to develop common strategies and continue to favor collaboration and exchange of experiences in the Navarrese, Aragonese and Catalan Pyrenees and pre-Pyrenees.
Among the common objectives, we want to maintain and revalue extensive livestock farming, as an essential piece of promoting the ecological, economic and social sustainability of the territory. These types of initiatives are an example of the necessary public-private collaboration.
