The La Piel del Rec space, promoted by Leather Cluster Barcelona, participated for the fourth consecutive year in REC.0, held from May 7 to 10 in Igualada.
Located in the Adobería Bella, this space brought together designers, artisans, and brands that work with leather from a sustainable perspective, showcasing quality products at one of Catalonia’s leading fashion, culture, and heritage events.
This year, the participation of the LaGaspar Municipal School of Art and Design stood out, as they presented their new Higher Level Vocational Training Cycle in Leather Techniques, reinforcing their commitment to specialized training in the sector.
In addition, pieces from the XtremKuir educational project were exhibited, focusing on the reuse of materials and the circular economy, highlighting emerging talent and a commitment to sustainability.
The space has also featured various brands and artisans who have showcased and sold leather goods, accessories and leather design, consolidating La Piel del Rec as a key showcase for innovation, tradition and responsible fashion.
