Modifications in the classification of beef, sheep and pig carcasses

New royal decree for the classification of beef, sheep and pig carcasses. Economic operators must periodically communicate to the competent authorities about the training requirements required to obtain authorization as a classifier of beef carcasses of the personnel who are in charge of this task.

This measure is necessary as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, since it will be allowed, through a transitory provision, the use of the telematic modality among the training possibilities required to obtain a provisional authorization of one year, whose validity may be extended through Minister’s order, depending on the evolution of the pandemic.
