The Zamora company specialized in cutting lamb, Moralejo Selección, has contributed to the Federation of Food Banks of Castilla y León, Cocina Solidaria, Remar España and the La Natividad Social Center / La Alberca Parish, in Zamora, with the Solidarity campaign Nobody without lamb at Christmas, with the donation of 10,000 portions of lamb.
In this way, Moralejo Selección’s portions of leg, ribs and lamb chops have reached the tables of almost 10,000 people this Christmas, thanks to the distribution of the charities with which they have collaborated.
Solidarity Fridays is one of our social commitments as a company, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals: help eradicate hunger in the world, reach the most disadvantaged by improving their nutrition and promote sustainable food among the population.
This action aims to improve Christmas for less favored families and thus be able to enjoy a different lunch or dinner on holidays.
The lamb that the families enjoyed comes from the rural areas of Spain, from the more than 4,000 farmers who supply the lamb to Moralejo Selección, appreciated in more than 40 countries around the world and transformed in Zamora.
