Every year since 2008, the European Day for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics has been celebrated, an initiative promoted by thel Centro Europeo para la Prevención y el Control de las Enfermedades (ECDC).
Next Friday, November 18th, the National Antibiotic Resistance Plan will once again organize the PRAN Conference for the Prudential Use of Antibiotics in person at the Ministry of Health. The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, will close the day, which will also be broadcast live via streaming on Friday, November 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The meeting will include a debate open to questions moderated by publicist Marián García
This year, the experiences of resistance will be heard from the voice of the protagonists of the event in the first person. The day will also be broadcast via streaming.
It is an informative day to sensitize and make society in general and health professionals aware of the seriousness of the problem of antimicrobial resistance and the importance of the prudent use of antibiotics to deal with this issue.
