Provacuno Alimentos de España

Since its creation, the interprofessional organization has collaborated with public administrations and companies in the sector to facilitate access to markets such as Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Thailand, while continuing to work on opening new strategic destinations, including South Korea and Mexico.

Much of this work is carried out through promotional programs co-financed by the European Union and with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture and ICEX (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade), contributing to strengthening the international positioning of beef produced under European standards of quality, food safety, and animal welfare.

The award recognizes the efforts made by the entire sector to consolidate the competitiveness of Spanish beef abroad. In 2025, Spain exported 230,214 tons of beef, valued at €1.751 billion, confirming the growing importance of international markets for this industry.
