PROVACUNO, the interprofessional beef organization, will be present at the Salamaq23 fair, an agricultural sector fair and the 34th international exhibition of pure cattle, which is held at the Salamanca fairgrounds until September 5. This is a meeting in which the importance of livestock farming in society is highlighted and which serves as a meeting point for the primary sector of our country.
PROVACUNO is at stand number 149, located in the Central Pavilion, where it wants to demonstrate once again its commitment to all Beef Beef professionals, a strategic and key sector for the economy, society and environment of our country.
For more than 6 years, the interprofessional has been dedicated to communication work with the aim of defending and highlighting the relevance of this sector and beef in the Spanish economy. This sector is essential for establishing population in rural areas, a fundamental purpose to counteract the problem of depopulation that affects all of Europe.
In the field of research, PROVACUNO works to continue progressing in such important aspects as animal welfare and environmental sustainability. At the international level, the interprofessional strives to increase beef exports around the world. Since the beginning of its work, PROVACUNO has managed to open 7 new markets in third countries and has helped increase exports by 32.52%.
The Salamaq fair has established itself as a benchmark both in Spain and in Europe in the field of beef. For Javier López, director of PROVACUNO, Salamaq is an unmissable event: “It is a faithful example of what this sector represents: technology, innovation, genetics, food, animal welfare… In short, a fair that exhibits the advances of the sector driven by the dedication and excellence of the ranchers of our country and a meeting point for the entire sector.”
