Published in the BOE the State Collective Agreement of Meat Industries 2024-2025

The Official Gazette of the State (BOE) has published the State Collective Agreement of Meat Industries for the years 2024 and 2025, after its final signature last February at the headquarters of SIMA (Service Interconfederal de Mediación y Arbitraje), in whose negotiating table ANAFRIC has actively participated.

The new agreement includes important labor and economic improvements for the sector. Among the main novelties stand out:

  • Salary increase: 3% in 2024 (retroactive to January 1) and 3% in 2025. In addition, a salary revision clause linked to the CPI, limited to 1% and non-retroactive, is incorporated.
  • Reduction of annual working hours: A maximum of 1,748 hours is established from 2025.
  • Expansion of the functional scope: The activities related to game and forest meat are incorporated.
  • Improvements in leave and vacations: Extension of leave without pay to two months and the possibility of enjoying a full month of vacations continuously.
  • Update of compensation for telework.
  • Improvements for the discontinuous fixed group.
  • Impulse to equality and diversity: Introduction of the sexual harassment prevention protocol and specific measures for the LGTBI group.
  • Increase of the nocturnal plus in 2024 by 6.42%.
  • Other improvements: Revision of licenses, translation of relevant communications for immigrant workers and commitment to the subrogation of veterinary assistant technical personnel.
