INTERPORC has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) for the promotion of Spanish meat products in international markets. This agreement has also been signed by INTEROVIC and PROVACUNO.
Both MAPA and the three interprofessional signatories have among their functions and objectives the promotion of the meat sector. Therefore, this agreement will be materialized, throughout this year and next, through assistance, participation and development of joint promotional actions at international fairs under the ‘Alimentos de España’ brand, in order to add technical knowledge and experience.
All companies in the respective sectors of the Interprofessionals may participate in the selected actions, for which they will be announced in advance. In the case of INTERPORC, the first actions included in this agreement include participation with grouped pavilions in the Food Taipei and Wofex Manila fairs, in June and July 2024 respectively.
INTERPORC’s general director, Alberto Herranz, and its international director, Daniel de Miguel, were present at the signing of the agreement. On the part of Interovic, its president Raúl Muñiz, and its director Tomás Rodríguez, and on the part of Provacuno, the director Javier López and José Ramón Godoy, international director of Provacuno.
